King of Knives only uses professional sharpening services for knife sharpening. We simply act as drop off point for our customers who wish to use their services.

It is important to note that the process of sharpening takes a little bit of metal off the item being sharpened to create a new edge. As a result a knife is made slightly smaller.

It must also be pointed out that whilst knives generally come back from sharpening in perfect cutting condition when it comes to scissors that are dull, they generally come back from sharpening much better, however scissors work by two blades passing by each other with minimal space between them. When you sharpen a metal object and take a small amount of metal off to create the new edge, that distance between the blades widens ever so slightly.
